Design and implementation of a methodological change in the scientific scope through gamification and the BSCS 5e instructional model

Abstract

La presente investigación pretende describir el diseño y la implementación de un cambio metodológico en la asignatura de Física y Química en 3º de la ESO, con el objetivo de motivar a los estudiantes y conseguir una mejora en su rendimiento académico. El cambio metodológico se basa en el uso de la gamificación, mediante la plataforma Classcraft, y el uso del modelo constructivista de las 5E, que ofrece el material educativo Science Bits. A partir de los resultados obtenidos, la investigación demuestra que el uso de la gamificación, como recurso educativo, motiva a los alumnos en el desarrollo de sus tareas, y el modelo de las 5E favorece la consolidación de los contenidos en el ámbito científico, consiguiendo de este modo un alumno competencial en las distintas dimensiones.
