Mª José Rodríguez Campillo has been a lecturer at Rovira i Virgili University as an associate professor since March 6, 1994, since September 2017 as a SECTI researcher and since February 2021 as a Serra Hunter reading professor.
She specializes in Spanish Literature of the Golden Age and the Middle Ages, and is also interested in the gender perspective in university teaching.
Her doctoral thesis on 'The implications for women's theater in the Golden Age' is a clear example of the research carried out by Dra. Campillo, in which fundamental importance is given to interdisciplinarity, which he always tries to use in his teaching tasks.
In these more than twenty-five years of teaching he has taught, above all, in the last courses of Hispanic Philology.
She has also participated in numerous university teacher training courses and in national and international Congresses and has organized scientific meetings in which she aims to promote the visibility of women's literature.
The use of linguistic methods for literary analysis is a constant in his articles, published in journals and monographic volumes.
He has participated in teaching innovation projects such as the 'Creation of interactive online tools for the Integration of Knowledge in language, literature and communication', from which the corresponding teaching material has emerged and, currently in the graduate “Good practices for the introduction of the gender perspective in the university teaching of language, literature and ELE”.
Her main lines of research are Spanish Medieval Literature, Spanish Literature of the Golden Age, Women’s Theater of the Golden Age, Literature Written by Women, Sociolectal Analysis or Historical Discourse Analysis.
